You are invited to participate in the International Museum Forum in Moscow “World Theatre Heritage/Legacy; Preservation and Representation in the Museum Space” dedicated to the 125th anniversary of the A.A. Bakhrushin State Central Theatre Museum and the Year of the Theatre in the Russian Federation, which will be held 8-11 October, 2019 in Moscow, Russia.

Dear colleagues,

 We shall be glad to see you at  the  International Museum Forum in Moscow “World Theatre Heritage/Legacy; Preservation and Representation in the Museum Space» dedicated to the 125th anniversary of the A.A. Bakhrushin State Central Theatre Museum and the Year of the Theatre in the Russian Federation.

The A. A. Bakhrushin State Central Theatre Museum was founded on October 29, 1894 by a prominent public figure, famous Moscow industrialist and philanthropist Alexey Alexandrovich Bakhrushin / 1865 - 1929 /.

Today, the museum has more than 1.5 million exhibits. These are costume and set designs by outstanding masters, photographs and portraits, stage costumes of great actors, programs of plays, rare publications on theatre art, objects of decorative and applied arts and many other objects.
